You must be 18 years old to use this site. Note: at any age good judgement and caution should be applied while using this platform for buying and selling. EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM and its staff will not be held liable for any disputes whatsoever between the users resulting from (personal) contacts following the use of the website. Arguments between parties should be solved between parties. EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM shall and will never interfere.

LIABILITY
EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM and its staff are not liable for:

• any contact made between parties
• any price agreement between parties
• any transactions between parties
• any content uploaded on the site
• quality, safety, authenticity or legality of the articles offered on the site

Note: if for any reason we are found to be liable our liability to you or to any third party is limited to 100 CHF.  Any disputes will be treated under Swiss law.

REGULATIONS
While using EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM it is prohibited to

• upload content (text or pictures) in an unrelated category on the site
• upload more than one item per advert
• upload an “URL” in the title
• upload copyrighted images or text
• upload pharmaceutical products or medical equipment
• upload firearms, ammunition and other war equipment
• upload loans or other financial services
• upload pictures that are not related to the text
• upload suspicious, illegal or forbidden content
• publish chain letters, pyramid schemes
• upload any articles that can harm the integrity of LEMAN EVENTS, EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM and/or private users of the site
• upload porno and erotic services, pictures or text
• gather information belonging to the site for use by third parties
• upload adverts or items (ex. pictures, logos, information, websites, etc) that belong to third parties
• upload incorrect and misleading content to your advert
• upload illegal or stolen products/services (due to local and international law)

The managers of the site have the freedom at their discretion at any time to unpublish your advert, in particular (but not excluded) if the above regulations are not adhered to. Moveover advertisers may be suspended from further working with the site. No refunds will be made for any unpublished advertisements.

Our site runs automatically, however if any inappropriate material comes to our attention we are bound to unpublish it. As long as the advert has not been unpublished the advertiser will be fully liable for all legal consequences to the placing of illegal or inappropriate adverts.

PRICING AND OPTIONS

• Although the site has been created for “individuals” it also allows businesses and services to advertise
• Business and services are uphelp to include TVA in the listed price on this site
• All the amounts paid to EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM must be paid in SWISS FRANCS (CHF)

FRAUD WARNING
Beware of scammers offering products, services, animals, apartments, etc. against downpayment through untraceable systems such as money gram of western union.

General advice: DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING YOU HAVEN’T SEEN WITH YOUR OWN EYES.

CATEGORIES

• Announcements and any other category on this site shall not be used as a "blog" to favor or disfavor an item, a service, a business, a person, etc. EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM reserves all rights to unpublish a "blog" at anytime.
• items and services from individuals and businesses can be uploaded in the “to sell and to rent” categories
• For general advertising on the site banners contact us at (send email through the system)

PRIVACY

• Neither LEMAN EVENTS nor EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM will ever sell information, pictures or other uploaded information of the advertisers to third parties.
• By registering to use EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM you are also registering to receive a free monthly e-newsletter from LEMAN EVENTS.  You may click on unsubscribe at the bottom from any newsletter to stop the service.
• The privacy of all participants must be respected, published contact details may only be used for their original purpose.

GENERAL

• LEMAN EVENTS and EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM are free to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time
• Your advert stays on line for a maximum period 360 days
• Your advert in ¨Hits of the week” will stay visible only until new uploads overtake its position 
• Your advert in the “Eye Catcher” will stay on line only until new uploads overtake its position.
• When your item has been sold we kindly ask you to manually delete it from the site
• As your PAID advert expires after 30 days you will receive an email in which we offer you to extend your advert against payment.
• LEMAN EVENTS and/or EXPATMARKETPLACE.COM will never reimburse money to advertisers.
